Quality and sustainability are top priorities at Knister. Short transport routes, almost completely plastic-free production and social responsibility are part of the overall concept. The founder, Carolin Kunert, is a trained industrial designer who, as a Munich resident, didn't have a large garden for barbecuing, so even as a child she wished for a better solution than barbecuing in the park with a disposable grill. That's why she designed the first grill in 2018 and is now constantly expanding the Knister range to offer everyone the perfect grilling experience.
