arTent is very creative with sustainable cardboard, they make the coolest things with it. From toys to lampshades and from a coffee cup holder to a laptop stand. But who is KarTent actually? It all started in 2015 to solve the waste problem at festivals. The solution, the KarTent, a 100% cardboard sleeping tent for festivals. The KarTent is made from recycled Kraft Fiber cardboard, so rain showers and gusts of wind are no problem. After the festival, KarTent will pick up their tents again to cut them into new products. To get a 100% circular KarTent! Due to COVID-19, the stock of tents is limited this year, and KarTent has therefore started to make products from other cardboard. For example, bicycle boxes are used! Have you seen the cardboard products yet? Super fun to assemble with the kids and then decorate it completely. Also use (durable) finger paint, chalk or glitter. No limit to creativity! The real entry will unfortunately not take place this year, but luckily you can just bring the entry in with their cardboard steamer! This way you still have a bit of the Sinterklaas feeling in the classroom.
