Although the Comet may appear highly kaleidoscopic at first sight as the viewer looks more careful, the pieces fall together and the advanced symmetry reveals itself. This version of the Comet is opened in the bottom for an easy change of the bulb. Perfect in couples or triplets over the dining table or in a corner with sparse light that needs a Nordic touch. Designed, folded by hand and assembled by the designer in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Holstein Folds

Holstein Folds creates lamps and other interior from the principles of origami, the Japanese art of paperfolding. The lamps are made from hand folded paper modules that are assembled to harmonic shapes and integrated with an LED-bulb. Each paper module and the way they are assembled add a unique kaleidoscopic effect to the lamps when the light turns on. Besides the lamps other items such as postcards and paper decor are sold as well. Even DIY-kits are sold, so people can try the art of origami for themselves.
