Giulavi was born as an expression of the only being, as such each piece created will be unique, the perimeter of each object will always be cut in a different shape. Giulavi is an artisanal product made in Italy with polished plexiglass. All the built objects are unique pieces, these are marked on the backs or in areas that are not directly visible, the date and number of the object are engraved with the laser and an anti-counterfeiting plate is applied. All the pieces are written in the Giulavi register, the numbers are progressive for each product category.

I am Pier Giorgio Laportella and I am an Italian craftsman, I live in Rome where in my laboratory I make my creations of contemporary craftsmanship. The push I had in immersing myself in this project is to create something that is not just form and function, but to give it a way of expressing. Using objects and thinking about what they represent is a way to better focus thought. Giulavi a series of manufactories made with the aid of lasers and CNC machines are all unique pieces, they differ from each other in the shape of the perimeter which is always different and never replicated.
