I wanted to make a coffee mug without an ear, while not losing the property that a cup with an ear actually has.
How does it work?
It's simple. The edge of every 66 stripes has a very small field. Just because of that, it doesn't transfer the temperature of beverages to the hand.
Therefore, you can easily carry the mug right after filling it with delicious hot coffee.
How about cold drinks?
Same! Just put some ice cubes in your favorite beverage and see that your hand doesn't heat up unnecessarily, the ice drink.
Optical illusion.
Ribbons are like two sides of the canvas. While turning the whole mug and observing one side changing into the second one, you can see how the whole pattern is dancing. Pattern motion is visible in the Glitch and Black Dots colorways.
