Information
The oil comes from the olive groves near ancient Messina in the Aetofolia (Eagle's Nest). There, the unique Kalamatian olive oil is harvested and produced in the wider Koroni region. The oil is made from the Koroneiki variety, picked while the olives are still green. This produces an aromatic, powerfully flavored oil.
The oil is cold pressed in a traditional way, which retains all the nutrients. The acidity is less than 0.30 and the color is golden green. The oil is rich in polyphenols, vitamin E and monounsaturated fats. Enjoy it raw or add it at the end of cooking. An excellent choice for everyday use.
