The story behind our pride, the first peanut butter store in the Netherlands! The idea for a peanut butter shop started at the kitchen table, where Michiel started combining the first flavors. This organic farmer has been a big peanut butter fan since he was young. Yet he missed variation in the existing offering. After a number of successful tests, the Peanut Boss decided to take it seriously. The idea of De Pindakaaswinkel was born. And we are still proud of that! Handmade in Amsterdam A building has been put into use on Czaar Peterstraat where the name 'De Pindakaaswinkel' has been placed on the window with stickers. Once the store opened its doors in 2016, the response was overwhelming! Enthusiastic peanut owners were amazed at a store full of peanut butter. This Dutch solidarity made it clear that we had taken the right path. We stand for the health of people and nature. The peanut plant also contributes to this: it returns nutrition to the soil, instead of absorbing it. The basis of our peanut butter consists only of peanuts and a little coconut oil. Palm oil does not enter our jars! No extra sugar has been added and most flavors are low in salt, making it a super healthy snack and good meat substitute. With our 10 different flavors you can continue to vary. Our peanut butter is handmade with a lot of love, making each jar unique. And what is by far the most important: our peanut butter is simply the tastiest in the Netherlands!
