The Boulevardier is the lesser-known sister of the famous Negroni, although both were made at the same time around 1920. There are only two differences: Negroni was made in Florence and Boulevardier in Paris and instead of gin like the Negroni, the Boulevardier is made with bourbon whiskey. The Buffalo Trace Bourbon Whiskey brings subtle sweetness and fine vanilla-like barrique notes, creating a more mature cocktail. The other components of this composition are Campari and the sweet vermouth Antica Formula.
