Pole Watches

Francisco Lopez worked for 54 years to become a respected entrepreneur selling watches of well-known international brands trying to offer people the best way to relate to time.

However, something was wrong: the more parameters the watches he sold offered, the more stress and need for control they produced.

I, Oscar Lojo, started working at the age of 28 as a creative for the brands he sold.
Unlike Francisco, I was young, bohemian and completely unconcerned with mobile phones and the time.

When he told me he wanted to meet me, instead of dismissing me for going shirtless, he made me a proposal:
To create a watch together that combined the best of our different worlds. His knowledge and my philosophy of life united to create a watch that was precise and elegant, but at the same time calm and free.

Francisco took me to Switzerland to learn how to design watches, we went back in time to bring back the single watch , hand found the perfect name in Africa and designed thousands of plans and sketches.
We worked for a year and a half trying to create a brand designed to de-stress people and improve their relationship with time. On January 13, 2019 we did it: Pole Watches was born, a brand with 19 models based on the Slow Life Philosophy.
