Unfortunately, these plastics are often made from petroleum. Plastic from petroleum is very negative for the environment due to its production, the CO2 emissions are huge. Bioplastic from plants is not and even makes a CO2 positive contribution. Plants absorb CO2 and when making our products, much less CO2 is released than the plants have taken up as a source. Our first product is the BE O bottle, a drinking bottle made from the residual flow of sugar cane. Made in the Netherlands, assembled in a sheltered workshop and fully recyclable. We willen allemaal duurzaam leven. Maar dat is niet altijd makkelijk. Iedere dag gebruiken we handige plastic producten, die ons leven een stukje makkelijker maken.
Helaas worden die plastics vaak van aardolie gemaakt. Plastic uit aardolie is door de productie zeer negatief voor het milieu, de CO2 uitstoten zijn gigantisch. Bioplastic uit planten is dat niet en geeft zelfs een CO2 positieve bijdrage. Planten nemen CO2 op en bij het maken van onze producten komt er veel minder CO2 vrij dan de planten als bron hebben opgenomen. Zo draag je dus bij aan een beter milieu. En gebruik je met veel meer plezier onze producten.
