During our studies at the art academy in Rotterdam we discovered a shared love for beautiful paper and special prints and patterns. When Anne-Marije moved to Italy, we decided to start a company together. With afternoon stories we want to share our passion for paper and illustrations with you. We strive for a better environment and a bright future for our planet. That is why we only work with local companies in the Netherlands and we consciously choose fair and sustainable materials. We design cards with hand-drawn illustrations, inspired by the Italian environment. They are printed in the Netherlands in small numbers, without a chemical process and on 100% tree-free paper. The paper of our cards is made from agricultural waste and is fully recycled, giving each card a unique look. In addition to sending to loved ones, our cards are beautiful to frame and to add to gift packages. We also design timeless wallpaper with detailed illustrations of trees, animals and urban elements. All illustrations are hand drawn by Anne-Marije and patterned by Anne.
