This is a beautiful, handmade calligraphy ink with a copper-colored shine. The ink is made in our London studio with natural mica powder and binders, which ensures an intense, glittering color. Unlike other ink, it is specially designed to keep the shine mixed during use, so that you don't have to shake every ten minutes.
This ink is ideal for use with a dip pen. Because of the natural mica, the shine can sink over with time, so before use you have to shake or stir the ink. Also make sure that you clean the pot and the lid well before closing it to prevent the lid from sticking.
The ink is water -based and if it is too thick for your pen, you can add a drop of water to dilute it. If it is too thin, you can have it evaporated by letting the pot open overnight. Due to the water -based, the ink will of course evaporate over time, but you can bring it to the desired thickness again by adding a drop of water to it.
