Cztery z najbardziej historycznych symboli starożytnej Grecji są rozmieszczone na 4 rogach tego wzoru. Po pierwsze, w lewym górnym rogu Conrucopia lub „Róg obfitości” był symbolem obfitości i pożywienia – znanym również z przechowywania ambrozji i nektaru. W prawym górnym rogu starożytny hełm, reprezentujący siłę i moc człowieka. Zwykle Grecy nosili pióropusze na hełmach, aby się zidentyfikować i jednocześnie odwrócić uwagę żołnierzy wroga. W lewym dolnym rogu starożytny kielich używany przez Greków do wznoszenia toastów na cześć bogów. Organizowali „sympozja” i wielkie festiwale ku czci Bogów i zawsze musieli pić i dziękować im za to, że dali śmiertelnikom takie bogactwo, by mogli cieszyć się życiem.
