Nasze rzeźby wykonane są w Berlinie z przyjaznego dla środowiska Gipsu Paryskiego. Jesteśmy dwójką artystów z Australii i Mongolii, którzy poznali się w Berlinie. Naszym pragnieniem jest połączenie dwóch rzeczy, z których słynie Berlin, czyli sztuki i kultury muzyki tanecznej.
Joseph Marr przyjechał do Berlina w 2007 roku z Sydney i od razu poczuł się w Berlinie jak w domu. „Pamiętam moment, kiedy to się stało, byłem na Arenie w Kreuzbergu, spacerując między dużymi ceglanymi magazynami i zauważyłem postacie wyłaniające się z ceglanego muru i byłem zdumiony, że na fasadzie starego ceglanego magazynu były te niesamowite ceglane rzeźby z dość ekscentryczny styl i wtedy pomyślałem, że to miejsce jest naprawdę inne. Niemal czułem w powietrzu zapach wolności w porównaniu do mojego rodzinnego miasta Sydney w Australii i dzięki temu tutaj zamieszkałem”. Indywidualne prace Josepha można znaleźć w kilku głównych kolekcjach sztuki na całym świecie, w tym w 9-metrowej rzeźbie z cukru w Berghain. „Niedawno poznałem wartość współpracy z artystą ulicznym Okudą san Miguel w Madrycie i dlatego uruchomiłem Creators Berlin z Sansara Van” – mówi Marr.
Sansara Van przyjechała do Niemiec w 2003 roku i przeniosła się do Berlina w 2009 roku z Mongolii, zupełnie innego świata w porównaniu do Europy. Sansara jest artystką zatrudnioną przez pięć oper w Berlinie, aby stworzyć zestaw malarstwa scenicznego i projektowania, czasami malując obrazy o długości do 20 metrów. „Moja miłość do opery i malarstwa połączyła się, gdy spełniłem swoje marzenie o pracy dla berlińskich oper… A teraz dzięki Creators Berlin mogę realizować moje nowe pomysły” – mówi Van. Najnowsze dzieło Sansary to metalowe Nimfy. Our sculptures are made in Berlin from eco friendly Plaster of Paris. We are two artists from Australia and Mongolia who met in Berlin. Our desire is to bring together two things that Berlin is famous for, namely Art and dance music culture.
Joseph Marr came to Berlin in 2007 from Sydney and felt immediately at home in Berlin. “I remember the moment when it happened, I was at Arena in Kreuzberg walking between the large brick warehouses and noticed figures emerging from the brick wall and was amazed that in the facade of an old brick warehouse there were these amazing brick sculptures with quite an eccentric style and at that moment I thought this place is really different. I could almost smell the freedom in the air compared to my home town of Sydney Australia and because of this I made my home here”. Josephs solo Artist work can be found in several major art collections worldwide, including a 9 meter long sugar sculpture in Berghain. “I’ve recently learnt the value of collaboration with the street artist Okuda san Miguel in Madrid and therefore have launched Creators Berlin with Sansara Van” says Marr.
Sansara Van came to Germany in 2003 and moved to Berlin in 2009 from Mongolia, a whole other world compared to Europe. Sansara is an Artist employed by the five Opera houses in Berlin to make the set scenic painting and design sometimes painting images up to 20 Meters long. “My love of Opera and painting came together when I fulfilled my dream to work for the Opera Houses in Berlin…And now with Creators Berlin I can realise my new ideas” says Van. Sansara’s latest work are the metallic Nymph’s.
