Wij, de Mojoz, willen goed doen door duurzame verlichting te creëren en tegelijkertijd mensen te helpen!
Sinds de prille start in 2016 ondersteunen wij de WakaWaka Foundation.
Deze stichting werft fondsen om zonneproducten te leveren aan gezinnen die licht en stroom nodig hebben in humanitaire hulpsituaties, en om de toegang tot veilige, duurzame zonne-energie te verbeteren in plattelandsgemeenschappen buiten het elektriciteitsnet.
Dus als je licht koopt, geef je licht.
En bovendien: voor elke verkochte lamp wordt er een boom geplant.
Voor deze unieke verlichtingscollectie gebruiken we alleen duurzame materialen zoals kurk, gerecycled glas en autobanden, eco-linnen en bamboe in al zijn varianten.
Sinds 2019 zijn we ook partner van Eden Reforestation Projects.
Hun missie is om bomen te planten in Nepal, Madagaskar, Haïti, Indonesië, Mozambique en Kenia met als doel herbebossing, agroforestry en het terugdringen van extreme armoede door het in dienst nemen van lokale dorpelingen.
Met jouw hulp hebben we tot nu toe meer dan 150.000 bomen geplant! We, the Mojoz, want to do good by creating sustainable lighting & helping people at the same time!
Since the early start in 2016 we are supporting the WakaWaka Foundation.
This foundation raises funds to provide solar products to families in need of light and power in humanitarian aid situations, and to improve access to safe, sustainable solar in rural communities off grid.
So when you buy light, you give light.
And on top of that: a tree is planted for each lamp we sell.
We only use sustainable materials such as cork, recycled glass and car tires, eco-linen and bamboo in all its varieties for this unique lighting collection.
Since 2019 we are also partner of Eden Reforestation Projects.
Their mission is to plant trees in Nepal, Madagascar, Haiti, Indonesia, Mozambique and Kenya for the purpose of reforestation, agroforestry and reducing extreme poverty through the employment of local villagers.
With your help we have planted over 150.000 trees so far!
