Chi è WAMS FASHION
WAMS nasce a Bolzano, nel cuore delle Alpi italiane, all'inizio del 2013 con l'obiettivo di trasformare un essenziale quotidiano in un accessorio unico.
Nasce dall'idea della caccia al tesoro quotidiana dei calzini, che è al centro della nostra identità: WAMS è un acronimo che sta per: Where Are My Socks?!
Senza un vero progetto su come disegnare calze o su come costruire un business di successo, ma anche senza convinzioni ostruttive, siamo andati a lavorare liberamente e con passione.
Nasce così la prima collezione WAMS, ispirata ai colori e alle forme della vita quotidiana.
Fin dall'inizio, le nostre calze sono sempre state progettate in Alto Adige e prodotte in modo sostenibile da piccole aziende familiari della regione Lombardia. Ci appoggiamo principalmente a questi valori tradizionali e a tutto ciò che è artigianale e creato con passione. Crediamo che i nostri calzini siano buoni solo quanto i tessuti di cui sono fatti. Per questo utilizziamo solo filo italiano pregiato e materie prime di alta qualità.
Molte cose sono cambiate durante i primi 8 anni e mentre arriviamo all'anno 2020, un anno che, come sappiamo, era un po' diverso, ha portato il cambiamento più grande al WAMS finora.
Con l'assunzione di Marian e Simon, l'azienda ha acquisito nuovo slancio: nuova vita quotidiana, nuovi design, nuovi tessuti, nuovi prodotti, nuovi obiettivi. Fondamentalmente, molte cose sono state capovolte. Doveva solo essere fatto.
Ma una cosa non cambierà mai: la passione e la voglia di vedere un giorno WAMS tra i marchi di accessori leader nel mondo. WAMS was born in Bolzano, in the middle of the Italian Alps, in early 2013 with the aim of turning an everyday essential into a unique accessory.
It was founded on the idea of the daily treasure hunt for socks, which is at the very core of our identity - WAMS is an acronym which stands for: Where Are My Socks ?!
Without a real plan on how to design socks or how to build a successful business, but also without obstructive beliefs, we went to work freely and passionately.
This is how the first WAMS collection was born, inspired by the colours and shapes of everyday life.
Since the very start, our socks have always been designed in South Tyrol and sustainably produced by small family businesses in the Lombardy region. We primarily lean toward these traditional values and to everything handcrafted and created with passion. We believe that our socks are only as good as the fabrics they are made of. Therefore, we only use fine Italian thread and high quality raw materials.
Many things have changed during the first 8 years and and as we come to the year 2020, a year that, as we know, was a little different, it brought the biggest change at WAMS so far.
With Marian and Simon taking over, new momentum came into the company: New everyday life, new designs, new fabrics, new products, new goals. Basically, a lot of things were turned upside down. It just had to be done.
But one thing will never change: The passion and the will to see WAMS one day among the leading accessory brands in the world.
