Chi è Tayf
Siamo Tamy, 28 anni, dalla Germania e Muhanad, 34 anni, dalla Palestina, e abbiamo viaggiato spontaneamente attraverso la Turchia nella primavera del 2021. Incantati dal calore della gente e dalla bellezza della natura, abbiamo visitato una piccola tessitura vicino a Pamukkale dove si produce cotone turco furono fatte coperte e asciugamani. Lì abbiamo incontrato i nostri attuali partner commerciali che ci hanno ospitato nel nostro alloggio: è nata l'idea di Tayf. Senza ulteriori indugi, ci siamo trasferiti insieme a Istanbul, dove ora viviamo come coppia e soci in affari. Impariamo ogni giorno a realizzare il nostro sogno di un business giusto che porti gioia agli altri con Tayf.
Nella lingua araba, Tayf significa “spettro” o “diversità delle cose”, che per noi è il nome perfetto per riflettere la bellezza e la diversità che speriamo di catturare nelle nostre coperte e asciugamani. Crediamo che i prodotti di alta qualità e la responsabilità umana vadano di pari passo. Ecco perché ci assicuriamo che il nostro lavoro sia basato sull’umanità, sulla fiducia e sulla sostenibilità.
SOSTENIBILE
La nostra produzione in Turchia avviene su telai semiautomatici, il che significa che non produciamo in grandi fabbriche. Questo ci consente di risparmiare sulle emissioni di CO2 e di fornire al tuo negozio un prodotto autentico. La tintura del nostro cotone è certificata con il certificato OEKO-TEX® e il cotone stesso non è trattato.
GIUSTO
Sappiamo con chi lavoriamo: non ci sono intermediari sconosciuti e la produzione viene effettuata da piccole imprese familiari e gruppi di donne che vengono pagati adeguatamente. Siamo orgogliosi di dire che sosteniamo il loro sostentamento attraverso il nostro lavoro.

TERMINI GENERALI
La nostra produzione è attualmente in corso in Turchia. A seconda delle dimensioni dell'ordine, i tempi di produzione e spedizione possono variare.
Tieni presente che Tayf non è responsabile per eventuali spese doganali che potrebbero essere addebitate durante la spedizione in Europa. Potrebbero essere applicati costi doganali che saranno a carico del cliente.
**AGGIORNAMENTO IMPORTANTE**
Da gennaio 2024 riprendiamo in mano l'evasione dei nostri ordini, proprio come una vera piccola impresa. lo facciamo insieme agli altri nostri lavori. Ciò significa che l'evasione degli ordini può richiedere del tempo, soprattutto durante il fine settimana. Si prega di calcolare tra 3 e 5 giorni lavorativi.
ATTUALMENTE siamo in vacanza fino al 10 marzo e non possiamo elaborare gli ordini in questo periodo.

We are Tamy, 28, from Germany & Muhanad, 34, from Palestine, and spontaneously traveled through Turkey in spring 2021. Enchanted by the warmth of the people & the beauty of the nature, we visited a small weaving mill near Pamukkale where Turkish cotton blankets and towels were made. There we met our current business partners as hosts of our accommodation - the idea of Tayf was born. Without further ado, we moved to Istanbul together, where we now live as a couple & business partners. We learn every day to make our dream of a fair business that brings joy to others come true with Tayf.
In the Arabic language, Tayf means ‘spectrum’ or ‘diversity of things’, which to us is the perfect name to reflect the beauty and diversity that we hope to capture in our blankets and towels. We believe that high quality products and human responsibility go hand in hand. That is why we make sure that our work is based on humanity, trust, and sustainability.
SUSTAINABLE
Our production in Turkey is done in semi-automatic looms, meaning we do not produce in big factories. This allows us to save on CO2-emissions and enables us to provide your store with an authentic product. The dye of our cotton is certified with the OEKO-TEX® certificate and the cotton itself is untreated.
FAIR
We know who we work with: There are no unknown middlemen, and the manufacturing is done by small family businesses and women groups who get paid adequately. We are proud to say that we support their livelihood through our work.

GENERAL TERMS
Our manufacturing is currently happening in Turkey. Depending on the size of the order, production & shipment time can vary.
Please note that Tayf is not responsible for any customs that might be charged when shipping to Europe. Custom fees may apply and are to be paid by the customer.
**IMPORTANT UPDATE**
Since January 2024, we haven taken the fulfilment of our orders back into our own hands - just like a real small business. we do this next to our other jobs. This means that orders can take some time to be fulfilled, especially over a weekend. Please calculate with between 3 and 5 business days.
CURRENTLY we are on vacation until March 10 and cannot process orders in this time.

I prodotti hanno un bell'aspetto, soddisfano le nostre aspettative e sono esattamente come mostrati. Il contatto è molto gentile e disponibile. Solo l'imballaggio in plastica ci infastidisce molto. Se acquisto un prodotto biologico, mi aspetto che venga confezionato in modo sostenibile. Altrimenti va tutto bene.
Die Produkte sehen toll aus, entsprechen unseren Vorstellungen und sind genau so, wie abgebildet. Der Kontakt ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Lediglich die Plastikverpackung stört uns sehr. Wenn ich ein Bio-Produkt kaufe erwarte ich, dass es auch nachhaltig verpackt ist. Ansonsten alles schön.

Consegna veloce e servizio molto cordiale! Ho chiesto le carte con le "istruzioni per la cura" perché non c'è nulla di cucito sui plaid stessi e le ho ricevute per posta pochi giorni dopo. I plaid stessi hanno una bella finitura.
Snelle levering en zeer vriendelijke service! Ik vroeg om kaartjes met de "care instructions" omdat er op de plaids zelf niets gestikt is en kreeg deze enkele dagen later via de post. De plaids zelf zijn van mooie afwerking.
