PORTRAIT Eyewear nasce dal desiderio genuino di due fratelli per metà venezuelano/spagnolo di preservare la tradizionale qualità dell'artigianato italiano, incanalando una risorsa così preziosa attraverso la ricerca del design dell'occhialeria contemporanea e seguendo i principi di un business sostenibile e socialmente responsabile.
Il nostro prodotto è interamente realizzato a mano in Italia da genuini artigiani che uniscono la tradizione artigianale ad un produttore ad alta tecnologia, perseguendo i più alti standard di qualità. Il processo di produzione aderisce a pratiche rispettose dell'ambiente e sostenibili. Tutti i nostri fornitori hanno una filosofia di efficienza energetica e garantiscono un posto di lavoro senza schiavi.
Ottica e occhiali da sole sono il risultato di una profonda ricerca e sperimentazione progettuale, fortemente influenzata dai movimenti della storia dell'arte e dedicata alle sue figure più iconiche. Coerentemente con l'anima artistica del progetto, la comunicazione si basa sulla promozione di artisti emergenti in una leale collaborazione che co-approva entrambi gli attori, il marchio e le sue affascinanti testimonial. PORTRAIT Eyewear was born from the genuine desire of two half-Venezuelan/Spanish siblings of preserving the traditional quality of Italian handcrafting, channeling such a precious resource through contemporary-eyewear design research and following the principles of a sustainable and socially responsible business.
Our product is entirely handmade in Italy by genuine artisans who combine traditional craftsmanship with a high-technology manufacturer, pursuing the highest quality standards. The production process adheres to environmentally-friendly and sustainable practices. All of our suppliers have an energy-efficient philosophy and guarantee a slave-free workplace.
Opticals and sunglasses are the results of deep design research and experimentation, strongly influenced by art-history movements and dedicated to its most iconic figures. Coherently with the project’s art soul, the communication is based on the promotion of emerging artists in fair cooperation that co-endorses both players, the brand and its fascinating testimonials.
