Dagli anni '60 - quando Theo e Willemien Koperberg hanno fondato la nostra azienda - abbiamo lavorato a stretto contatto con le piccole imprese familiari e le imprese sociali in Asia. Proprio come noi, sono appassionati di mantenere in vita i vecchi artigianato e creare mezzi di sussistenza sostenibili.
La nostra storia inizia con Theo e Willemien che hanno iniziato un'attività all'ingrosso negli anni '60. Ogni anno viaggiavano attraverso l'India per settimane per acquistare l'arte tribale più bella, i rari oggetti d'antiquariato e i pezzi vintage. Ogni pezzo è stato selezionato in base all'artigianato e all'aspetto. Hanno anche visitato il Nepal per acquistare i bellissimi artigiani di Newari.
Da quando Monique Abels ha assunto i suoi suoceri, molte cose sono cambiate. Con il suo background nel marketing, Monique costruisce un ponte tra gli artigiani dall'India e dal Nepal e dal mercato europeo. Insieme ai designer olandesi, Koperberg sviluppa regali e oggetti consapevoli che si adattano perfettamente agli interni eclettici. E, soprattutto, siamo un'azienda consapevole sociale; La responsabilità sociale è la nostra massima priorità. I nostri prodotti sono prodotti in condizioni eque in India e Nepal, supportiamo vari progetti sociali e intraprendiamo azioni per ridurre al minimo il nostro impatto ambientale.

Since the 60’s - when Theo and Willemien Koperberg founded our company - we have been working closely with small family businesses and social enterprises in Asia. Just like us, they’re passionate to keep old crafts alive and to create sustainable livelihoods.
Our story begins with Theo and Willemien who started a wholesale business in the 60's. Every year they traveled through India for weeks to buy the most beautiful tribal art, rare antiques and vintage pieces. Each piece was selected based on craftsmanship and appearance. They also visited Nepal to buy the beautiful handicrafts of the Newari craftsmen.
Since Monique Abels took over her in-laws' company, many things have changed. With her background in marketing, Monique builds a bridge between the craftsmen from India and Nepal and the European market. Together with Dutch designers, Koperberg develops conscious gifts and items that fit perfectly into eclectic interiors. And most important we are a social conscious company; social responsibility is our top priority. Our products are produced under fair conditions in India and Nepal, we support various social projects and we take actions to minimise our environmental impact.

Ben confezionati, bei prodotti e c'era una carta personale e dei bei regali. Ho solo 1 bandiera dei desideri tedesca invece di NL .. Ma può succedere.
Goed verpakte, mooie producten en er zat een persoonlijk kaartje bij en nog wat leuke attenties. Ik kreeg alleen 1 Duitse wensvlag ipv NL.. Maar dat kan gebeuren.
