Chi è Hommard International
L'idea di Hommard è nata su una spiaggia rocciosa della costa della Bretagna, in Francia, camminando sulle pietre rotonde della spiaggia, in una nebbia gelida, mi è venuta l'idea di avviare un marchio di moda utilizzando il cashmere, per me il più lussuoso e bel materiale del mondo. Tornando dalla spiaggia all'hotel, sono passato davanti a una piccola pescheria con una bella insegna di aragosta, in francese Homard, ho capito subito che se aggiungevo una M, avrebbe quasi scritto anche Homme, che significa Uomo, e quindi è nato Hommard.
Hommard è stato quindi lanciato nel 2009 con la passione per il cashmere e l'artigianato. Ora si è evoluto in un marchio davvero unico e desiderabile che offre una moltitudine di materiali di lusso a diversi prezzi. Hommard si sta affermando come un marchio irrinunciabile a livello globale, adatto a un ampio spettro di età.
Nei nostri disegni abbracciamo il cashmere classico e senza tempo, ma lo trasformiamo per il moderno e il contemporaneo. Nessun maglione intorno alle spalle. Lo chiamiamo maglione e lo indossiamo. La nostra visione è quella di far crescere Hommard in modo che diventi un nome affermato a livello globale per i prodotti di lusso legati al cashmere e ad altre fibre naturali, oltre ad essere un'azienda responsabile, ci sforziamo di lavorare nel modo più rispettoso possibile dell'ambiente. Lavorando in un settore impegnativo, comprendiamo che il riciclaggio non è solo necessario, ma è anche un'opportunità per noi di fare la differenza. Pertanto abbiamo avviato un programma di riciclaggio del cashmere, in cui i consumatori possono rispedirci i loro vecchi maglioni in puro cashmere non più utilizzati e noi li raccoglieremo per riciclarli in nuovi prodotti.

The idea for Hommard was conceived on a rocky beach at the coast of Bretagne, France, walking on the round stones of the beach, in a chilly fog, the idea came to me to start a fashion brand using cashmere, to me the most luxurious and beautiful material in the world. Walking from the beach back to the hotel, I passed a small fish shop with a beautiful lobster sign, in French Homard, quickly I realized if added an M, it would also almost spell Homme, which means Man, and hence Hommard was born.
Hommard was then launched in 2009 with a passion for cashmere and craftsmanship. It has now evolved into a truly unique and desirable brand offering a multitude of luxurious materials at different price points. Hommard is establishing itself as a must-have brand globally, catering for a broad spectrum of ages.
In our designs we embrace the classic and timeless cashmere, but transforms it for the modern and contemporary. No jumper around the shoulders. We call it a sweater and wear it. The Hommard person is a world savvy person. Always on the pursuit for opportunity but knows when to hit the brakes and enjoy life. With a comfortable, great looking garment to support their quest. We strive to design items which can be worn for a lifetime.
Our vision is to grow Hommard to be a globally established name for cashmere and other natural fibers related luxury products, as well as being a responsible company, we strive to work as environmentally friendly as possible. Each item from the Hommard collection should give the user the confidence and trust, it has been made with honest materials and has a great value, and brings joy whilst wearing it.
Working in a challenging industry, we understand that recycling is not only necessary, it is also a chance for us to make a difference. Therefor we started a cashmere recycling program, where consumers can send us back their old no longer used Pure Cashmere sweaters and we will collect them to recycle into new products.
