El Jefe Primo Salsa was started years ago as a hobby in the kitchen at home in Amsterdam. Jefe's wife and El Jefe have lived in Texas and California and we are big fans of Tex-Mex food, which must always be eaten with a tasty hot sauce.
Lately they have been travelling regularly to Mexico and bringing back all sorts of native chili peppers and local spices. Back home in Amsterdam they have been using them to make delicious sauces. El Jefe has outgrown his hobby status and is now making his revolutionary salsa’s full time.
