Le nostre sculture sono realizzate a Berlino in gesso ecologico di Parigi. Siamo due artisti australiani e mongoli che si sono conosciuti a Berlino. Il nostro desiderio è quello di riunire due cose per cui Berlino è famosa, vale a dire l'arte e la cultura della musica dance.
Joseph Marr è arrivato a Berlino nel 2007 da Sydney e si è sentito subito a casa a Berlino. “Ricordo il momento in cui è successo, ero all'Arena di Kreuzberg passeggiando tra i grandi magazzini di mattoni e ho notato delle figure che emergevano dal muro di mattoni e sono rimasto stupito dal fatto che nella facciata di un vecchio magazzino di mattoni ci fossero queste meravigliose sculture in stile eccentrico e in quel momento ho pensato che questo posto fosse davvero diverso. Potevo quasi sentire l'odore della libertà nell'aria rispetto alla mia città natale, Sydney, in Australia, e per questo ho fatto la mia casa qui”. Il lavoro dell'artista solista di Joseph si può trovare in diverse importanti collezioni d'arte in tutto il mondo, inclusa una scultura di zucchero lunga 9 metri nel Berghain. “Di recente ho appreso il valore della collaborazione con lo street artist Okuda san Miguel a Madrid e quindi ho lanciato Creators Berlin con Sansara Van”, afferma Marr.
Sansara Van è arrivata in Germania nel 2003 e si è trasferita a Berlino nel 2009 dalla Mongolia, tutto un altro mondo rispetto all'Europa. Sansara è un artista impiegato dai cinque teatri dell'Opera di Berlino per realizzare la scenografia e il design dipingendo a volte immagini lunghe fino a 20 metri. "Il mio amore per l'Opera e la pittura si è unito quando ho realizzato il mio sogno di lavorare per il Teatro dell'Opera di Berlino... E ora con Creators Berlin posso realizzare le mie nuove idee", afferma Van. Le ultime opere di Sansara sono le Ninfe metalliche. Our sculptures are made in Berlin from eco friendly Plaster of Paris. Joseph Marr came to Berlin in 2007 from Sydney and felt immediately at home in Berlin. “I remember the moment when it happened, I was at Arena in Kreuzberg walking between the large brick warehouses and noticed figures emerging from the brick wall and was amazed that in the facade of an old brick warehouse there were these amazing brick sculptures with quite an eccentric style and at that moment I thought this place is really different. I could almost smell the freedom in the air compared to my home town of Sydney Australia and because of this I made my home here”. Josephs solo Artist work can be found in several major art collections worldwide, including a 9 meter long sugar sculpture in Berghain. “I’ve recently learnt the value of collaboration with the street artist Okuda san Miguel in Madrid and therefore have launched Creators Berlin with Sansara Van” says Marr.
Sansara Van came to Germany in 2003 and moved to Berlin in 2009 from Mongolia, a whole other world compared to Europe. Sansara is an Artist employed by the five Opera houses in Berlin to make the set scenic painting and design sometimes painting images up to 20 Meters long. “My love of Opera and painting came together when I fulfilled my dream to work for the Opera Houses in Berlin…And now with Creators Berlin I can realise my new ideas” says Van. Sansara’s latest work are the metallic Nymph’s.
