Beast of Paradise, mein bescheidenes Unternehmen am Waldrand im Süden der Niederlande. Ein Ort, an dem Rehe durch die Straßen streifen und man nachts unter dem „Huhu“ der Eulen einschläft. Es ist mein kleines Paradies...
Ich habe schon in jungen Jahren mit dem Zeichnen begonnen und bin durch Möglichkeiten hineingewachsen, nicht durch eine direkte Entscheidung. Ich liebe alle lebenden, ausgestorbenen und natürlichen Tiere und bin daher der rote Faden in meiner Arbeit als Illustratorin.
Ich, Berith – Inhaberin und autodidaktische Künstlerin, habe 2019 mit Beast of Paradise begonnen. In den folgenden Jahren habe ich mehrere niedliche und lustige, skurrile Farbstiftarbeiten und wissenschaftliche Illustrationen angefertigt. Ich möchte, dass meine Illustrationen aus der Masse der Grußkarten, Poster, Kalender und mehr hervorstechen.
Da die Natur für uns so wichtig ist, versucht Beast of Paradise, Plastik so weit wie möglich zu vermeiden. Ich verwende Verpackungsmaterial wieder und verwende für meine Karten kein Einwegplastik. Das wenige Plastik, das möglicherweise gefunden wird, wird aus Produkten des täglichen Bedarfs hergestellt. Started drawing on an early age, grown into it by possibilities not a direct choice. In love with all beasts living, extinct and nature, and therefore the red thread in my work as an illustrator.
Me, Berith - owner and self-taught artist, started with Beast of Paradise in 2019. In the years that followed till now I made several cute and fun, whimsical colour pencil works and scientific illustrations. I want my illustrations to stand out in the mass of greeting cards, posters, calendars and more.
Because the natural world is so very important for us, Beast of Paradise try to avoid plastic as much as possible. I reuse packaging material and I do not use single-use plastics for my cards. The little plastic that can possibly be found are made from everyday life products.
