Dejligt at møde dig! Vi er Lars og David, venner og grundlæggere af Mr. Maté! Nysgerrighed og udforskning flyder gennem vores årer, og kombineret med vores passion for at opdage nye fødevarer og kulturer startede vi Mr. Maté i 2020. Mr. Maté er det første hollandske maté-mærke, der tilbyder grønne yerba maté-blandinger.
Hvorfor yerba maté?
Yerba maté er en sydamerikansk te hjemmehørende i den atlantiske regnskov. I Sydamerika elsker og drikker folk Maté dagligt. Med god grund: yerba mate er berømt for sine mange antioxidanter, vitaminer og mineraler. Udover det indeholder maté en dosis koffein for at kickstarte din dag!
Vores grønne yerba maté
Vi bruger kun de bedste, økologiske, ikke-GMO grønne yerba maté til vores blandinger. Green Maté er blød i smagen og indeholder en høj mængde antioxidanter. Den er bæredygtigt høstet i den atlantiske regnskov, hvor den vokser midt i regionens indfødte flora og fauna. Ved at høste bladene i hånden og kun en gang hvert andet år kan Maté-planterne regenerere naturligt og påvirker miljøet minimalt.
Det er det, der giver vores maté dens friske, grønne og unikke smag. Og smager endnu bedre i vores Blends... Vores unikke Blends er lavet i hånden og indeholder kun tørret frugt og urter, ingen sukker eller aroma!
Alt dette, traditionelt drukket af en græskar (calabaza) med dit eget filterstrå (bombilla)!

Why yerba maté?
Yerba maté is a South American tea native to the Atlantic Rainforest. In South America, people love and drink Maté daily. For good reason: yerba mate is famous for its many antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Next to that, maté contains a dose of caffeine to kickstart your day!
Our green yerba maté
We use only the best, organic, non-GMO green yerba maté for our blends. Green Maté is smooth in taste and contains a high amount of antioxidants. It is sustainably harvested in the Atlantic Rainforest, where it grows amidst the native flora and fauna of the region. Harvesting the leaves by hand and only once every two years allows the Maté plants to regenerate naturally and minimally impacts the environment.
This is what gives our maté its fresh, green, and unique taste. And tastes even better in our Blends... Our unique Blends are made by hand and only contain dried fruit and herbs, no sugar or aroma!
All of this, traditionally drunk from a gourd (calabaza) with your own filter straw (bombilla)!
